offer the basic services such as as voice messaging and routing
to your subscribers and then you introduce advanced services as
market acceptance increases. Rapid time-to-market helps you build
your customer base, and productivity-enhancing features create user

Subscriber Acceptance
Subscriber churn is a significant impediment to long-term profitability,
especially in mobile markets. Winning and retaining subscribers
is critical to success. VoiceSaver makes it very easy and logical
for your subscribers to use the service and within short time the
subscribers attain a comfort level using the services. The voice
prompts are concise and clear and the mail box and service can be
customized for each subscriber. The customization features allows
you to have very loyal subscribers.
Operations
You can operate your VoiceSaver platform locally or from remote
locations. The remote operation can be through dialup, LAN, or Internet
Access. Multiple operators can provision mailboxes and sign new
customers at the same time. The status of every call is displayed
on the monitor and the operator can turn on/off trace based on the
port, subscriber, or application. VoiceSaver has proven built-in
features to help you collect your service fees. The VoiceSaver can
be integrated with your billing database to provide information
to the subscriber about their account balances and other information.
How It Works
The VoiceSaver system works in conjunction with the Central Office
switch. When a caller calls the subscriber's busy or no answer line,
the CO switch routes the call to VoiceSaver. VoiceSaver answers
the call and plays the subscriber's greeting message and allows
the caller to leave a message. After the caller leaves a message,
VoiceSaver turns on the stutter tone or calls the subscriber's beeper.
If the subscriber's phone line is a fax line, it will receive a
fax and notify the subscriber. The system can notify the subscriber
through the E-mail and optionally attach the voice message or fax
message to the e-mail destined to the subscriber.
VoiceSaver Integration
The VoiceSaver System can integrate with virtually any type of Central
Office switch. The line interface to the switch can be T1, E1, DID,
E&M, or Loop Start, and can support the SMDI, E&M, R2MFC,
ISDN PRI, CAS, C5, SS7/C7, or Analog protocols. The platform has the resources
to process voice, fax, text, and conferencing. |
